Numb Radio is a UK-based online radio station dedicated to the music, memories and unmistakable sound of the 1980s.

Format

Numb Radio plays music from across the 1980s, 24 hours a day.

Our playlist includes pop, rock, new wave, synth-pop, soul, dance, power ballads and forgotten favourites from one of music’s most iconic decades.

Alongside our regular programming, listeners can hear specialist programmes focusing on particular genres, artists, chart years and musical movements from throughout the 1980s.

Operational Information

Numb Radio operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The station operates through cloud-based broadcasting systems and does not have one permanent physical radio studio. Programmes may be produced from different locations throughout the United Kingdom.

Production and Automation

Numb Radio’s programming is produced from several locations across England and Wales.

Our schedule includes a combination of live, voice-tracked, pre-recorded and automated programming. We also broadcast selected syndicated programmes where they complement the station’s 1980s format.

Automated programming allows Numb Radio to continue broadcasting around the clock, while scheduled presenter-led programmes provide additional features, entertainment and specialist music selections.
